Optimove

Run Optimove-orchestrated campaigns on Messenger through Dynamo.

Optimove Integration

The Optimove integration turns Dynamo into an execution channel for Optimove-orchestrated campaigns: you build and schedule campaigns in Optimove, and Dynamo delivers them as Meta marketing messages on Messenger — creating the Meta campaign, custom audience and broadcast for you, sending automatically, and reporting delivery metrics back to Optimove.

Unlike the audience-source integrations (Klaviyo, Braze, Customer.io), this is a two-way connection: Dynamo registers itself as an Optimove channel, syncs your message templates into Optimove, and reports campaign metrics back after sending.

What you need

What you needWhere to find it
API KeyProvided by Optimove for your account.
API hostYour tenant's apiX.optimove.net host — shown on Optimove's General Information page (or ask your Optimove rep). Defaults to api4.optimove.net.

Connect Optimove

In Dynamo, open your organization's Integrations settings and add a new Optimove integration.

Paste your API Key and pick your API host.

Dynamo validates the key by registering itself as an Optimove scheduled campaign channel — after this, Dynamo appears as a channel you can target in Optimove campaigns. Disconnecting the integration unregisters it again.

Configure your Facebook pages

In the Optimove section in Dynamo, configure each connected Facebook page you want campaigns to run on:

  • Default ad account — the Meta ad account used for campaigns targeting this page.
  • Budget rule — either a fixed max spend per campaign, or dynamic (scaled automatically with the campaign's audience size, with a sensible minimum).
  • Templates — reusable marketing-message blueprints (name + message content). Templates are synced into Optimove as channel templates, so campaign builders can pick them per customer when composing a campaign.

How a campaign runs

A marketer schedules a campaign in Optimove targeting the Dynamo channel, choosing Dynamo templates for its customers.

When the campaign fires, Optimove notifies Dynamo, and Dynamo pulls the campaign's customers — grouping them by their assigned template.

Per Facebook page, Dynamo creates a Meta message campaign (budget per the page's rule); per template, it builds a Meta Custom Audience and a ready-to-send broadcast.

Once each audience is ready — and after Meta's ~2-hour campaign warm-up — Dynamo sends the broadcasts automatically. While a campaign is warming up, its broadcast shows "Processing Optimove campaign" in the marketing messages list.

After sending, Dynamo reports the results back to Optimove: Sent, Delivered, Opened, Clicked, and Unsubscribed.
